Pros

Started off well pre pandemic Some of the team

Cons

Salary is poor compared to other industries No longer a manager as you have little to no control just have to tick boxes Company culture is going down the drain, used to be very member and employee focused now they are purely numbers and money orientated

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
