Pros

• CEO • Straight forward tasks to run a team and gym • Get to meet members from all walks of life • Free gym membership

Cons

• Lack of leadership and responsibility • Too cliquey amongst other managers resulting in poor decisions and lack of trust • Rapid expansion results in forgetting about the teams/clubs you already have which means getting left to fend for themselves • Maintenance company is falling way behind. Can’t get out quick enough to fix a standard door lock or soap dispenser let alone the bigger jobs • Salary is way off compared to the volume of tasks required

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
