Pros

Self Employed PT : Earning potential is great if you are good at marketing. I love that the rent is set, so the more you work the more money you keep, unlike with some other companies where the more you work the more they take from you. Part Time Employed FC: Salary is not great for this, however teaching classes for the gym gives you many leads, if you know how to use them. It can be in a way of PT clients once you are busy, but Puregym offers the option to do less FC shifts and pay more rent instead, so you can work your way up to full rent PT. I have worked for them for over 8 years, and would certainly work for them again in the future.

Cons

On and off work all day, no set work hours, early mornings and late evenings, earning varies monthly

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
