Pros

-Lots of friendly, hardworking, intelligent people -No bureaucracy. If you want to try something new, you probably can because there's not much detailed oversight. -Company is growing because of strong employees. -Small staff means you can expand your own skills as much as you want. -Heavy employment of women (but little diversity otherwise) -401k & commuter benefits -Excellent maternity/paternity support -Beautiful and spacious new office with patio -Lots of alcohol

Cons

-Severe lack of organization. Information is not disseminated well, if at all. -Understaffed. This seems true for every team, but especially for Pure Growth Organic. -With one combined HR & Finance manager for a 35-person office, optimal efficiency is impossible. -Poor distribution of workload leads to certain people in office always staying late. -Executives seem to not communicate with each other enough, leading to discrepancies in direction and frequently redoing things to each executive's liking. -No system in place for annual reviews, bonuses or raises. These benefits seem to be handed out haphazardly. Lack of reviews means that it's hard to know how you're performing. May be fired without much warning. -High turnover rate. There is a culture of putting in your time then getting out asap. -CEO has some anger issues.

Pros

Anyone is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Great group of people at every level.

Cons

More structure is needed at times. Sometimes we all take on too many responsibilities to deliver for client deadlines.

Pros

- They somehow lucked into hiring some really fantastic, talented people—although most of them have left by now. - Nice office space Truly cannot think of any beyond that . This place is a nightmare. I will note that I personally witnessed (and actually received requests from) HR, asking employees to write positive reviews for Glassdoor. So take the glowing ones with a grain of salt.

Cons

- Extremely unprofessional work environment. CEO thinks that all employees are his own personal assistants and frequently hands down work that is personal in nature. In addition, CEO has severe anger management issues. Known to curse out employees so loudly the entire floor can hear. Has outbursts on set as well, resulting in a very poor reputation with former clients (and shrinking business over time). - Absolutely no mentorship. It's a sink or swim environment, which very little guidance or direction on how to reach the next level in your career. They'll conveniently only bring up all the things you've supposedly done wrong at your annual review, just so they can deny you a raise. - Work/life balance is abysmal due to understaffing and overpromising to clients. Certain members of team work insanely long hours—leaving past 10 PM is not unusual. - Zero organization. Upper management doesn't let people just do their job—they jump in and meddle, change things before delivering to client (with zero heads up to the team), and just generally play all these games that keep you insecure about your job performance, confused about your own projects, and guessing what could possibly be next every day.
