Pros

I’ve worked in financial planning & financial sales for awhile & I’ve never worked for a firm that I enjoy working for as much as pure. They give the advisors autonomy but expect you to work however hard you need to in order to succeed. You receive all the support you could need. You’re given extensive training on how to sell, retain & leverage internal resources. We take planning extremely seriously & the dedication of leadership to our mission is obvious. Lastly, I like the culture. We joke, have employee appreciation parties & more. Compensation is greater than any other ria I’ve ever worked at as well. Note: Most of the reviews that are negative are likely from client services. We’re an extremely fast growing ria & they have a lot of work - more than many competitors but not without opportunity. We promote ops folks into planning all the time-they just have to study for the CFP(R) & pass it. It’s a role which at all RIAs that is less fun albeit a necessary stepping stone.

Cons

None that are worth mentioning!

Pros

One thing I like about this job is how much it expands my understanding of personal finance and long-term planning. Different financial topics every week. Opportunities to continue learning. The experience helps me become more knowledgeable in ways that benefit both my career and personal life.

Cons

Financial regulations occasionally change and require adapting to new requirements.

Pros

I work with clients on retirement planning, investment strategies, and holistic financial guidance — the fee-only model means you're on the client's side rather than pushing products. The training and onboarding gave me a proper start. The team is supportive, and the office never feels like a pressure-cooker. The pay is good, and there's also bonus potential.

Cons

Periods of market volatility make clients nervous, so they need extra attention and more follow-ups.
