Pros
The diverse working environment is a great way to learn how to interact with others from various backgrounds and ethnicities. The students were the ones who made my job fun every day. The Professors were very generous around holidays and celebrations, which was a great bonus! I adored working with almost every single person in my department.
Cons
The upper management/department heads were what started the downhill slide of the particular department I worked in. Once a new Head was hired in, he began acting very unprofessionally. Then, those who were immediately beneath him started acting the same way. It just seemed to kind of trickle down from there, with others following his lead.
