Pros

If you are one of the owner's favorites you will get special treatment. There are some good people that work for Pulse and it becomes your support system while you are working in the most toxic environment I have ever worked for in my career.

Cons

A company that once had so much potential and went down the drain due to the pride and stupidity of the owner. During COVID outbreaks the advice is to wash your hands more and for everyone to still be in the office. Only the people that the owner favorites are allowed to work from home, if you get COVID you have to use your PTO and when you run out of PTO you don't get paid even if you are a salaried employee. The owner treats everyone hourly here and most people don't get raises! There is no organization in the company, you only get heard if you are one of the favorites, and let's be honest you will not even be acknowledged unless people are talking behind your back unless you are part of the click that includes the other family members that work at Pulse. They sell family-owned but trust me you do not want to be part of this dysfunctional family that will scream, yells, and backstab.

Pros

Free employee events. Baseball games in a suite at boomers stadium. Softball employee league. Summer BBQ’s.

Cons

Toxic work environment. No annual pay increases ever not even cost of living regardless of years with the company. Forced involvement in company events.”Presidents Trip” is glorified family vacation for the business owner since the family owns and operates the business. Few non family members may be chosen to go if they like you. If you’re sales you must meet or exceed quota in order to qualify for the trip which is fair but all other roles is a random draw. No Hr department. The president and his wife are HR. This company should be audited.
