Pros
-It's a job. -It does look good on a résumé depending on what industry you are wanting to work in long term.
Cons
-The compensation (or lack thereof) is atrocious -Work/Life balance is virtually nonexistent as this company cares only about the supposed "needs of the business" -Favoritism plays TOO large of a role in whether you succeed or not and advance to a higher paying position -Nearly all levels of management are generally uneducated individuals who fail to see the associates as people, rather than a robot with no feelings - Tons of micromanagement and scrutiny from upper mgmt on the store level and executive alike -Very strict grooming and appearance guidelines bordering on unrealistic -If you do not possess a "cookie cutter" personality and enjoy being told what to wear, how to look like, and EXACTLY how to do things....this may not be the place for you. -Having to work with so many incompetent and lazy people
