The benefits of promotion are very good if you decide to move up - Publix has consistently been on the 100 best companies to work for list because of the above average benefit compensations.
Cons
A lot of coworkers bring a bad work ethic, drama, and unprofessionalism. And unfortunately, a lot of customers treat you badly as well, and you are expected to just take the disrespect and rudeness and not say anything about it, basically leaving your dignity at the door, which is unfair.
