Pros

Can not think of any

Cons

I was blatantly lied to during the recruitment process! Senior management are arrogant, lack leadership and communication skills! The approach is very much colonial and team members are treated like slaves. - Unclear and messy processes - Short term hiring approach - Lack of communication and demonstrations of superiority from senior managers. I was desperately trying to get answers of important questions and arrange meetings but none of that ever happened. Instead, I was called incapable on multiple occasions (one of them while the manager was off video and chewing on their food) - The company failing to provide new employees with basic tools and instructions needed to perform even semi decently - A messy structure( not even appropriate to say there is any structure in place) - Micromanagement to a level that the CEO gets involved into really simple admin stuff (make sure you worship him in any possible way) - Managers are rude; lack of respect from senior staff to more junior people - Managers consistently breaking internal policies, incl. financial ones, and rules and that’s considered normal (this would never happen in a company that cares about reputation). Managers asked me to do things with expenses that in my previous places of work would have gotten them fired on the spot - No work- life balance; working out of hours, weekends or during annual leave. Consistently calling and messaging my personal phone after hours - I was told I couldn’t work from abroad but at the same time was asked to take my laptop with me while on a holiday and join calls after 10pm local time - The HR department are way below the level one would expect for such kind of organisation I.e. rude, lacking knowledge, very unresponsive and really unhelpful - Company is really cheap on equipment and facilitating people to wfh. I was sent a SECOND HAND wired headset! I had to use my personal peripherals - Shocked to understand that there was 3 day compulsory leave during the Christmas period and the days are taken out from your annual allowance. Should you not have any annual leave left, they would kindly deduct 3 days from your next year’s allowance As a summary I would say that for someone to consider it as a good place to work, it would either be their first job ever or they have really been working in horrible places prior that. No professional with any self respect is going to enjoy or appreciate that place.

Pros

Amazing culture, at least in this office. Catered lunch twice a week, and constant events and treats and free snacks. Experience can be very balanced in terms of work/life. Great benefits, including generous PTO policy.

Cons

Broader company has poor strategy, and clearly doesn't know what to do with the workforce they have as AI lowers the client pipeline and rates. Roles are only plentiful in the US if you are in Product or Project Management, as other capabilities are being offshored to save client budgets, and/or are being collapsed so that employees must vibe-AI their way into competency. This leads to sapped morale and poor output at the client level. As the company has been struggling - and as promotions become less likely to be approved - some of the most passionate folks in the company have left for greener pastures, or have been unceremoniously pushed out. This in turn has led to a weakening of office culture. Your work experience can also be variable - depending on seasonality, client pipelines, and role, you could be so busy you don't have time to care for yourself or so bored you are feigning productivity. More than is normal at other consulting companies, the workloads seem incongruent with who's being hired or not.
