Pros

Two years ago this was a great place to work with good work life balance, good people, and a routine job. Unfortunately this is now not the case.

Cons

Company relies heavily on watching the moves of big Tech companies, but these decisions are poor in the content of such a small operations. They are outsourcing the work to India for cheap labour with little to no rights, and making the Irish office employees redundant - with many employees showing loyalty and respect with years of tenure before this. There’s a severe amount of hand holding from upper management due to a lack of trust, and every decision they make is always the wrong one for the client - but it falls back on the analysts who do all of the work. Heavy reliance on AI and lying to clients on how much it’s implemented and who is actually doing any of the work. Very talented and skilled professionals have been let go, and it is a shame that the company has moved into a culture of fear for the new staff. Unfortunately, the company has lost touch with itself and I can’t imagine they will ever create a good work environment again.

Pros

- Supportive management - Customer-centric focus - For certain roles, remote work options - Truly a career opportunity, not just a job - there are people who have been here for 10-15 years and still enjoy it

Cons

- It's not a quick climb up for promotions, but (at least for my department), there's a clear measurement framework of what to aim for in order to achieve them.

Pros

Working at PublicRelay is, to some extent, extactly what you make of it. This business hires folks for their natural intellect and ambition, not their existing skills. This means that the eager sponges tend to really excel here, upskilling themselves and rising through the ranks quickly. Most are hired to do menial tasks at first but can quickly move up to bigger and better things. By and large, management is attentive to each and every employee, offering them clears paths upward and honest performance feedback.

Cons

Pay is not very competitive, but the benefits and workplace flexibility make up for it. If you are looking for a place to rake in big cash, look elsewhere. But if you value work/life balance and managers who treat you like a real human, you'll sacrifice a little salary for that here.
