Pros

-Interesting projects that focus on a variety of different areas -Some members of staff are friendly and helpful -Great opportunity to learn and receive exposure

Cons

-Upper management is incompetent and doesn't know how to run an organization. -Work/life balance is terrible and most people on staff are stretched incredibly thin. -Training and onboarding for new staff members is nonexistent. They are always constantly struggling and reaching out for help. -Some members of staff are incredibly nasty, arrogant, and condescending. -Stressful environment. Multiple people on staff have started therapy since starting work here.

Pros

-Interesting projects with similar types of clients -Nice, committed junior staff eager to learn - Small firm with big mission

Cons

-Disorganized senior/executive management who treated subcontractors like disposable resources, rather than assets to a team. -Disregard for investment in internal infrastructure; it was hard to watch project managers and junior staff struggle -Toxic work environment; it was sad to have full time staff reach out for help -Underpayment of subcontractors compared to the market. -In hindsight, all subcontractors at the time were white, regardless of project content or geography they were working on
