Pros
Great customer relationship building if you are scheduled reliably at one or two of the same properties, lots of self-management, kind district manager
Cons
Split shifts between two properties with all tasks done in 4 hours twice a day and yet the lowest paid property manager role in the market with the least amount of managerial influence to actually run a property. Flawed business model resulting in high stress across the board and horrible retention. DM is kind and good at their job but overwhelmed with work and tasks, minimal middle management positions that are only paid during specific times, poor division of responsibilities, massive lack of actual ability to manage property, role is essentially glorified custodian that makes collection calls and helps people fill out an agreement on an ipad by repeating a script. high-tier customer service expected for lowest-in-industry pay by highest-performing industry leader.
