Pros

Very Few. I guess I can say I made lasting friendships through shared misery.

Cons

They are legion. The culture is dysfunctional. The mantra of caring, caring, caring is non-stop but I've never worked anywhere as cut-throat and stressful. The hours were long, the pay was low, and the benefits sucked. Good people didn't stay long. Needed change and innovations will never come.

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
