Pros

Residents and their families. Even the challenging ones are a joy to work with.

Cons

Continuous cuts to staff benefits. Does not pay holidays, except for Christmas Day IF it falls during the week. Horrible health insurance that pays for nothing. Very little PTO...which much be used for sick, holidays and vacation. Vacation is JOKE in this company. Told staff in November that they would not receive their Christmas bonus. Raises are VERY small. Management has no accountability. Cover each other and treat their subordinates very unfairly. Always short-staffed and do little to reward hard workers. Take the cheapest way possible in terms of staff recognition. Very corrupt. Unfairly retaliates and targets those who aren't "team players," meaning those who won't participate in their targeting and bullying of anyone who does anything that remotely resembles disagreeing with them. Neil Pruitt could care less. He spends a gazillion dollars twice a year on lavish parties with free flowing booze for his management crew while line staff lose bonuses and get $10 Walmart gift cards in exchange for giving up their Christmas Day with their families.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
