Pros

competitive salary good benefits (HMO, PTOs)

Cons

- The work environment feels highly monitored, as employees are tracked through multiple applications that monitor almost every activity. It can feel like there is very little trust or integrity given to employees, and it may not be ideal for people who value autonomy in managing their work. - Office gossip is extremely rampant and can sometimes affect the overall work environment and team dynamics as professionals. - The company promotes work-life balance, but there is a noticeable disconnect between what is advertised and what is practiced. Long working hours, lack of sleep, and overtime are often normalized, glorified, and romanticized by supervisors and managers. Although overtime is paid, it should not be treated as a badge of honor. - Also I noticed that the company's large client accounts still appear understaffed despite continuous hiring and increasing deliverables, which makes the emphasis on overtime feel avoidable rather than required or necessary. - Yes the salary is very competitive. However at times, it feels less like employees are being paid competitively and more like they are being compensated for the amount of overtime and workload expected of them. - It may also not be ideal for employees who highly value spending the holidays with their families, as the peak season typically runs from August to January. - The office setup offers little to no privacy. There are no dedicated spaces where employees can decompress, gather their thoughts, or simply have a moment to themselves aside from the open pantry that everyone uses. - The company offers work-from-home arrangements, but it may not be ideal for people who prefer location flexibility, as remote work is restricted to approved locations only. - Personal devices are not allowed during on-site work, which is understandable given the nature of the business and security requirements. However, this restriction was never clearly disclosed during the recruitment or interview process and only came as a surprise on the first day. While some employees may not mind this policy, it would have been helpful to communicate it upfront so candidates could properly set their expectations before accepting the role. - Some IT analyst roles also feel heavily oversold during the recruitment process. There appears to be a significant gap between the job posting and the actual responsibilities. For example, positions advertised as Data Analyst roles may turn out to be EDI Analyst roles in practice, which are very different career paths. There is little to no coding, analytics, or technical work involved, with most responsibilities revolving around data imports, exports, and administrative processing. Greater transparency regarding the actual nature of these roles would help candidates make more informed career decisions. - The company places a strong emphasis on its social and "hi-hello" culture, which may not be comfortable for everyone. There are activities for new hires, such as new hire nights or social gatherings, that some employees describe as feeling similar to an initiation process. While these events may be intended to promote team bonding, participation can sometimes feel expected rather than optional. This may be uncomfortable for employees who are naturally introverted, socially anxious, or simply prefer to build relationships at their own pace. A more inclusive approach that respects different personalities and comfort levels would help create a better onboarding experience.

Pros

I love working here! Everyone is approachable and very friendly. I also appreciate the hybrid setup, as well as the company’s commitment to keeping employees safe during calamities and crises. It’s a great place to start a career in the BPO or tech industry, with competitive compensation for entry-level roles.

Cons

Employee benefits should be updated to be on par with those offered by other companies, in order to improve retention and encourage employees to stay longer.
