Pros

Smaller company with culture at the forefront. Leaders get out of your way so you can prioritize and do your work. The quality and quantity of your work matter because the company is smaller and everything that we can get done is helpful. Expectations are clear. Compensation is competitive. Several new leaders about a year ago and that change is a positive one. Great support and communication related to the work I need to get done and I'm not bogged down with town halls and endless meetings with info that is not related to and interrupts my work. 2 floating holidays in addition to traditional holidays.

Cons

The 401K match is discretionary and historically 1% when granted.

Training materials and meeting content are not always available for later reference, making it difficult to review important information after large meetings or training. No recording is allowed during meetings. Expectations, role responsibilities, and process changes are often communicated verbally rather than documented, leading to confusion and inconsistent interpretation. Employees may have limited opportunities to ask questions or obtain clarification regarding new responsibilities and workflow changes. Job responsibilities and priorities frequently shift, making it difficult to maintain a clear understanding of role expectations. Last-minute projects and urgent requests can disrupt planned work and contribute to a reactive work environment. Communication gaps between executive leadership and frontline staff often lead to misunderstandings and delayed awareness of organizational changes.
