Pros

-flexible schedule -don’t have to work weekends or major holidays -sad only two pros, WAY more cons than there are pros here

Cons

-don’t get paid on every deal -don’t get paid on some deals for months -don’t get paid what your owed -don’t get paid nearly enough -after you leave (whether fired or on good terms) don’t pay you what your owed -promised 75-100k, was top in my office and didn’t crack 50k -don’t get what you put it, hard work is not repaid -door to door cold calling -lead generation is a joke, supposed to have solid appointments but ALL are a waste of time -communication throughout the company is beyond poor -if you need an answer you never get it, if they want an answer they hound until they get it -management acts like they care but in the end they only care about themselves and their bottom line -the culture is based on what have you done for me lately -2 pointless meetings a week -training is awful, make you work in an area that all trainees have already worked and have “beat up” -not a career unless your already at the top, just look at reviews, 75% of positive reviews are upper management -promise promotions that never come -turn over rate is catastrophic -hire anyone with a pulse, whether qualified or not -no benefits, insurance, 401k or incentives (expenses etc) -make you lie to Constellation Energy when they have office visits -if you don’t make the minimum numbers for quota pay gets drastically cut, including commissions -if your selling you will be loved, have a bad week and things change immediately -if you have a couple of bad weeks you get fired -the list could go on and on, not worth wasting anymore of my time

Pros

Nearly unlimited commission opportunities. Fortune 100 client providing best in class service. Comprehensive training available in both a structured and unstructured environment (ie…. unstructured means furthering your knowledge and skill set above and beyond if you choose with available resources). This is a commission SALES job. If you don’t have a passion for sales, for learning your product and always understanding a changing sales environment, it will be a more difficult job.

Cons

Because the product you are selling has a market based cost that can be unpredictable, some people get frustrated with things out of their control that makes selling the product more difficult at times and easier at times. People who have a difficult time with this unpredictability or have not put in the time and energy (pun) to understand the product they sell will be more challenged.

Pros

Lots of coworkers if you need assistance

Cons

Supposed to be remote but that comes with many conditions and changes frequently
