Pros
The location is good, near metro.
Cons
There were a couple warning signs for how unprofessional management was before I started but I missed them. The woman who hired me (owns the place with her husband I believe) emailed me about an interview on a Friday at 9:45pm asking me to come in the next morning at 10am. During the interview for a "business/marketing intern" she dropped the pay originally advertised as $17 to $13 and refused my counter-offer. We agreed I would start the next day and work from 8am-1pm (as I would be part-time) but the next day, without explanation she made me stay until 5pm. I spent approximately 20 minutes doing "business/marketing" work that was the job was advertised to me for. Every day I was sent to the Career Services department to help them with administrative work, call medical offices in the area, etc. Not what was advertised to me, discussed with me, etc. I was ready to quit but was never told how I would be paid, I emailed the manager inquiring about method of payment and scheduling and upon attempting to check my email they changed my password. She tried to fire me informally by locking me out of my work email. Incredibly unprofessional. I didn't care to work in such an unprofessional environment so all I wanted was my paycheck. On a Thursday she said she would send it to me the next day (Friday) and all I wanted was an email confirming she had send it. Long story short, Her husband (and co-owner) was the one who sent it almost a week later. Incredibly unprofessional.
