Pros
This is honestly my dream job & my only regret is that I didn't find it sooner but everyday, I look forward to going to work & I am SO proud to be a part of this team! Everybody is so incredibly intelligent & it means so much to me to work together to dedicate our talents towards the issues we care so deeply about. Everything I have always been so interested in throughout college, I get to now apply throughout the variety of clients that come through -- I really can't believe I get paid to do this full-time. I learn so much from my colleagues everyday and get to make an actual impact rather than just raising awareness about certain issues, that's probably my favorite part.
Cons
Honestly I'd rather work all day every day on my passions rather than counting down the minutes at a job I don't care about. Days are few & far between where you need to put in the "12 hour days" but work/life balance is truly up to you if you can manage your time productively! Management does not endorse working a certain amount of hours -- it's all about getting your work done rather than the amount of time you put in. Leadership is super forward-thinking & progressive in the way the implement culture -- it's something that drew my to this place and was something I was looking for in my next opportunity when I was job hunting.
