Pros

The CFOs at Propeller Industries are phenomenal and wonderful to work with. The finance team is absolutely incredible, displaying a high level of competence and professionalism.

Cons

I had a very negative experience working at Propeller Industries, primarily due to the mismanagement in the sales department. The current leadership has no concept of what a sales cycle looks like at Propeller Industries. Their lack of understanding and ineffective leadership severely impacts the sales team's potential and performance in a negative way. The current SVP of Sales and Marketing is not only unskilled in her role but is also a liability to the company. She frequently gossips about her teammates, makes inappropriate comments about colleagues, and even criticizes team members' appearances. This toxic behavior creates a hostile work environment that is detrimental to both morale and productivity. I would never recommend working in sales at this company as long as the current SVP of Sales and Marketing is in place. Her presence undermines the potential success of the sales team and creates a challenging and uncomfortable work atmosphere. Proceed with caution if you are considering a sales role here.

Pros

The company fosters a people-first culture where everyone feels supported, valued, and part of a tight-knit community. It’s a place where relationships matter—everyone knows everyone, and if not, someone will introduce you or encourage you to connect. It can get very busy sometimes, but in my experience the team comes together to get the job done.   To me, beyond anything, people are the most important aspect as work can be learned over time. The focus isn’t just on contributing but also on learning and growing, playing long-term games with long-term people.   You feel like a true partner with clients, actively contributing to their success stories. I have experienced seamless collaboration across teams—such as accounting and finance—working cohesively for and with the client, which has been an exceptional experience. You’re not just working in isolation or handling routine tasks but are genuinely part of something meaningful and impactful.   The remote aspect is amazing, allowing for flexibility for my hours during a week.

Cons

Certain weeks of the month can become very hectic, requiring excellent multitasking skills to manage priorities across different clients and, at times, even industries.   It is crucial to compartmentalize and stay focused to handle the dynamic nature of the work.
