Pros

None. Abusive work environment. Extremely high turnover. Multiple staff taking sick leave due to bullying and stress.

Cons

Abusive work environment. Extremely high turnovers with multiple staff taking sick leave due to stress and harassment from senior staff. Extremely unhealthy work environment. Senior staff will say high turnover is a result of employees not being “cut out” for the industry when the reality is staff leave due to the extreme pressure and bullying received from senior staff. In the last five years, only two employees have been with Propel longer than a year. The company provides no learning opportunities or advancement. Employees are put down on a daily basis. Inability to retain staff result in unsustainable work load and pressure. Do not work for this company.

My experience working at Propel Solutions was nothing short of a nightmare. The workplace environment they cultivated was extremely toxic, characterized by incessant berating and intimidation tactics that left staff feeling demoralized and stressed. On numerous occasions, the owner would berate staff for hours on end, often over minor mistakes or perceived slights. This relentless verbal abuse created an atmosphere of fear and anxiety, making it nearly impossible to perform our duties effectively. Constructive feedback was nonexistent; instead, we were subjected to constant criticism and humiliation. Threats were a common part of the owner’s management style. They frequently threatened employees with termination, creating a pervasive sense of job insecurity. This coercive behavior was not only unprofessional but also highly unethical, pushing many talented individuals to their breaking point. The overall work environment was suffocating. Team morale was consistently low, and the high turnover rate was a clear indicator of the hostile conditions. Collaboration and innovation were stifled as employees were more focused on avoiding the boss's wrath than on contributing positively to the company. In summary, working at Propel was a deeply distressing experience. Their abusive behavior and toxic management style created a hostile work environment that significantly impacted the well-being and productivity of the staff. I would strongly advise anyone considering a position under their leadership to reconsider and seek opportunities elsewhere.
