Pros

I loved the people I worked with. We were all friends, and everyone was always willing to help one another. Benefits were great, and getting holidays off was nice too.

Cons

Management has horrible communication with each other and their employees. They sometimes change your responsibilities without discussing it with you first. Turnover rate started to get high after new directors came along. Pay is not up to par. California is extremely expensive, and their hourly wage does not compensate for that, even though they make millions of dollars a year with auctions. Promotions only happen once a year, regardless. You can be amazing at your job, but you have to wait for a whole year to get promoted and a pay increase. Even then, the pay increase is maybe a dollar or two. It was fun for the first few years, but towards the end, I noticed how corrupt this place was getting.

Pros

If you really love movies this place is the best. Its in the outskirts of Satana Clarita but such an exciting place to work. If you have ever dreamed of seeing the Terrminator in person, or a Hoverboard or a light saber this is the place to be.

Cons

Its gets VERY busy during auctions so be conscious that everone has to up the pace to get things done. Its a great team though and they all pull together.

Pros

Cool and historical movie memorabilia.

Cons

Fast food now pays more. Don’t take this job seriously because if they fire you, you can get more handing out nuggets and fries. Sad but keep that in mind. Until they get fed up with you, take time to enjoy the cool stuff. Have little nostalgia journeys. Make friends you can use as references as you won’t be relying on management for that. Don’t stress out trying to meet quotas. You will always fail and if you don’t then you just proved that you can do more and will be expected to do more and will be dinged in evaluations for slipping back to regular quotas lol. Some jobs are like this. You just have to play the game of how long till they fire me. Be pleasant with everyone and don’t hide your ways. Make sure they know you aren’t going to bend over for them and let them call the shot. The worst they can do is fire you.
