Pros

Consider it an IT bootcamp of sorts. You will have exposure to a wide range of technologies. You can learn very much in a short amount of time if you are dedicated and put effort into learning.

Cons

Management is horrible, no organization whatsoever, no project management. Management has driven many highly skilled experienced engineers out and replaced them with entry level people. This is was my biggest issue, as you get no mentoring working here which stunts the learning process. IT is a trade skill, you need to treat it as such. Without the masters you will not learn properly. They do not care about their employees. There is simply not enough resources to handle the work many times. This is based off decisions made from management. Salary is horrible, they expect you to work ridiculous hours at times with no overtime pay or compensation. Absolutely no work / life balance, expect to throw your health and personal activities out the window.

Pros

Promenet is an outstanding place to grow your career in tech. Leadership is genuinely invested in employee development, offering consistent support and encouragement to expand your skill set. The breadth of environments and technologies you're exposed to accelerates learning in ways that are hard to find elsewhere. The culture fosters curiosity and continuous improvement, making it easy to feel motivated and engaged. My time here has been incredibly rewarding — I feel supported, challenged, and valued at every step of my tech journey. There is a commitment to excellence that permeates every level of the organization, and it shows in the quality of the work and the people around you. One thing that truly sets Promenet apart is their willingness to take a chance on emerging talent, as well as a strong position of job security. Rather than requiring years of prior experience, they open the door to motivated individuals who are fresh out of school or newly certified — and then invest in helping them succeed. That kind of forward-thinking approach to hiring is rare, and it speaks volumes about the character of this organization. If you're looking for a company that's truly invested in your growth, look no further

Cons

Like most companies in the IT/MSP space, the fast-paced nature of the industry means things can move quickly and you have to be comfortable adapting on the fly. Additionally, as with much of the tech industry, keeping up with the rising cost of living can be challenging — but the investment in your growth and development here makes it worthwhile.

Pros

I've been with Promenet since the beginning, and I can confidently say this is a place where people build real careers, not just collect job titles. We take pride in the way we support customers. That means white-glove service, yes—but also rolling up our sleeves at 2 a.m. when a client needs us, collaborating across teams to solve complex problems, and constantly evolving as technology and client needs change. There’s a strong sense of ownership here. You’re trusted to make decisions, expected to bring solutions (not just problems), and supported by people who genuinely know their craft. We work hard, but we also recognize that great outcomes come from experienced professionals who are given autonomy, not micromanagement. Many of us have been here for decades, which says something about the culture. If you’re looking for a place where your expertise will be valued, where you’ll be challenged to think like a consultant, not just tech support, and where you can build something long-term, this is it.

Cons

Not a place for people who need a lot of structure. Workload can be heavy at times.
