When I first started at Prolink a few years ago, I was so impressed by the company values, the culture, and the ability to grow personally, professionally, and financially within the company.
Unfortunately, within the last 6 months, it feels that there have been some huge changes behind closed doors that impact the stability that we once had in this job. Valued team members have lost their jobs with no notice after being promised that layoffs were not in our future. Most current team members understand that layoffs are a necessary "evil" to adjust to current market trends; however, to blatantly assure us that layoffs were not happening only to have them happen the following week, destroys trust of current employees. 2 months after the layoffs, our compensation structure was changed drastically, and recruiters were only given a 10 day notice before these changes went into effect.
All in all, we understand that changes need to be made to adjust to the market; however, we feel that these changes have been reactively and hastily made, leaving the "Family First" value in the rearview mirror.
