Pros

PWI has an amazing company culture where your hard work and results are truly valued. The individuals working at PWI are motivated, mission-driven, and highly skilled. I've been with the company almost 6 months and their focus on people-first is second-to-none. The HR staff is so personable and management is understandable and generally quite reasonable. I've been very impressed with the high skill level of our marketing team and design team. It's a fun and fast-paced environment to work. There is always something that is urgent for our clients and it's a lot to manage at times but management will always be flexible when life comes up.

Cons

The compensation package is on the low side, especially compared to industry standards. They want to invest in the organizations they work for, but at the end of the day, my job needs to pay an adequate value for the quality and quantity of the work. On the flip-side there are other benefits that are invaluable, i.e. flexible work schedule, grace and understanding, great opportunity for learning

Pros

After thinking about it ... I think you would be hard-pressed to find a company that cares about their people and their clients as much as PWI does.

Cons

Sometimes tough decisions have to be made and people are offended

Pros

If you were inspired by books like "Extreme Ownership" and "Five Dysfunctions of a Team", you'll love working at PWI. I feel like I'm taking a master class in effective teamwork and collaboration. Everyone here has each other's back, and shows genuine concern for each other. PWI makes sure to empower you to crush both your immediate tasks and your long-term career goals. The mission is clear, and everyone understands the immediate objectives, and how their immediate tasks fit into it. Everyone here is out to make a difference in the world, and they do everything they can to support each other in that. It's so refreshing to be on a team with so much mutual care, accountability and trust, and where everyone shares their needs promptly and clearly.

Cons

It's a fast-growing company in a rapidly-shifting industry, so uncertainty and change will always be high. And the team is highly functional, so if you thrive on dysfuction you probably won't like it 😁
