Pros

PEC is such a family oriented company that cares about the employees. The scheduling is flexible enough that I can provide the hours I'm willing to work, and only be assigned within those time frames, giving me the ability to take care of responsibilities outside of work. The work is not too demanding, and the management team and supervisors are quick to reply to any questions or needs for assistance. Any time off requested is given without question, support and constructive feedback are offered in a kind and helpful way. Recognition is offered for work well done and gentle suggestions of improvement are offered if needed.

Cons

Hours for this position are available based on the current courses that are running. If there are not many classes during a slow period, you may experience a decrease in hours, but this is usually temporary.

Pros

- Flexible hours. I work part-time and can set my working hours to any time of the day. I won't necessarily get those hours because it depends on when classes are scheduled, but I generally get classes in my desired hours. If I need a day off for an appointment, it's very easy to contact my supervisor. - Super friendly environment. My supervisor is great. They let me know if I make an error but I've never been chewed out, felt disrespected, or micromanaged. - Easy to get help. There are dedicated chats for monitors, tech support, and more. Help is literally a message away. - Low stress. Because there is a team available to help if something goes wrong, it's much less stressful. The work involves a bit of multi-tasking but isn't difficult overall. - You get to watch language classes. You don't always get to learn from them as sometimes you'll have four class simultaneously, but they're enjoyable to watch.

Cons

- Limited hours. Currently, full-time is not available for monitors and part-time hours are limited to what is available.
