Pros
- Good bonus structure - Decent salary - Hybrid working - Monday to Friday, 9 to 5
Cons
- Don’t bother bringing up any ideas to improve things because they won’t listen - Nearly all the learning of the work is on the job, with either none or outdated training resource material - No process improvement model or team, once someone makes up a new process they just dump it on everyone without thinking of the consequences - No training team or training (specific to the job duties) when you start, you'll just shadow someone who is meant to be looking after you, who will leave you to go to a dozen meetings everyday - Other teams and the branch staff don't want to help you, they just want to get you off the phone, some can be very rude - No culture, they just think they can bring everyone into the office once a month, do a quiz and try to have a laugh for an hour, throw you a Mars bar and call that culture - At least one system you use will break or not work everyday - The equipment they provide/use is very outdated, they are still using desk phones in 2024 - They don't know how to support people with mental health issues, because they have the same robotic staff from the 90s, who are all stuck in their old ways, their thinking is - just because our current staff don’t bring up any issues like this, we don’t have to have the support there - They have a “anyone who upsets the apply cart is out” approach
