Pros
The office is close to restaurants and stores for convenience. Some coworkers are helpful. You can take unpaid time off. Basic health insurance and pto. Small "lunch budget" around $20 per person a month.
Cons
Horrible management - you are replaceable to them and not valued. Managers always assume the worst of you and have no trust in their employees. Their attitude grows increasingly belittling and negative once you are hired on. Very low pay and little room for advancement/ raises. Not a good place to gain experience/learn - you have to learn everything yourself. The company is very unorganized. When people are pushed to quit or are fired, the rest of the team has to pick up extra work with no acknowledgement, appreciation or compensation. Stingey owners/managers. No investment in bettering employee's workspace or experience. Salary employees have to clock in and out. Overtime is often times not allowed, even if you take on more work. You are monitored. Little to no benefits - 5 paid holidays (no Christmas eve), PTO accrued over time, no 401k/pension. Disgusting bathroom and shared spaces - bathroom is always filthy and unkempt. Overflowing trash cans and stains on the toilet/walls. No air ventilation at all.
