Pros
Working with Procorre (just over a year), there are a few observations that are clear from the beginning. The company operates on a dynamic and entrepreneurial business model where you will continuously be challenged. There has not been a day since my time in Procorre, where I have not learnt something new. The business knowledge I have acquired and continue to acquire is unparalleled. 1. Company Culture – One of the best factors of working with Procorre – it is a close-knit group of young professionals that are not shy to display their personalities which catalyses the social and positive atmosphere. I look forward to coming into work even on the gloomiest of days! And I’ve made very good friends during my time here. 2. Management – one of the key reasons I remain loyal to the company is management. You will not be micro-managed so it is up to your personal motivation and drive to make the most of the tasks and responsibilities that are allocated to you. I have been given the freedom and trust to make crucial decisions (good or bad) and in turn learn from them thus leading to consistent development. My manager’s support and discipline has undoubtedly shaped my personal and professional growth. Any ideas and suggestions have been acknowledged and implemented which reinforces my contribution and value to the company. You will be rewarded for the work you put in. There are ample opportunities for development – either they will be presented to you or you have to make the initiative. A proactive and adaptable mindset is a must. 3. Work Load – There is a consistent flow of work with some periods where it is very busy and some periods where it simmers downs. Very rare that you will be sitting idle at any given time.
Cons
Procorre isn’t for the faint-hearted and those unaccepting of change. It believes in constantly evolving to better the services it offers – if you have difficulties with this, you will struggle. The workload and fast-paced nature of the company can be overwhelming at times.
