Pros

free coffee Stanwood is a nice forested place

Cons

they lie about what they will teach you down the road the managers will fire you without ever telling you what you were, or did wrong underpaid, overworked ZERO training I worked with a guy that grew up homeless. He lived in a sailboat at the time that kept having technical issues. The man was very productive and went out of his way to code programs that they worked into the official production line. His boat's technical issues caused him to be late a handful of times, so they fired him. One of my managers pulled me aside and said, "I know they said this job is 50hrs a week, but it's more like 70-90." It's salary, so no overtime pay. You will get burned and have to explain it to your next employer.

Pros

Everyone here is working towards the same goal of quality work. People are nice and helpful. The management has the company and workers as a priority and they seem to look out for people. If you have a family emergency the company responds as you would hope they would. They understand some things happen. If you have a bad attitude or work ethic, or you stir up drama this place is not for you.

Cons

It took me too long to realize you can't expect people to see everything extra you do, You have to advocate for yourself and make sure the people above know the extra stuff you do for yourself and others in your section such as making quick reference databases for past projects, and excel tools to simplify repetitive work. My particular hardware section can be a little stressful but as I have heard from others who left the company that stress is a given no matter where you go in the engineering world, There will always be a decent work load and some of that is time-sensitive. You have to scan through thousands of pages of PDFs and will practically live in an Excel sheet, save every email because customers are only human and forget project-altering conversations so CYA.
