There's a reason Probo Medical was voted one of the Best Places to Work in Indiana this year. As a company, we've grown quite a bit in the last few years. Over 300% in revenue to be more precise. Regardless of how fast or how much we grow, our management has never lost sight of us--the employees. We have an amazing Office Manager and CEO who work tirelessly to ensure that each employee feels welcome, empowered, and important. Whether it's bringing doughnuts in for employee birthdays and work anniversaries or random after-work invites to go grab a drink at Sun King or playing a round at Top Golf, you can clearly see that they truly want everyone to feel like a part of the Probo family. And it's not just through "festivities." They also make us feel important through hiring smart people and trusting those people to do their job. At Probo, we're not micromanaged and we're not just mindless drones. Every opinion and suggestion is valued. It doesn't matter if you've been here for 5 days or 5 years, if you see something that can be done better, our management wants to hear that opinion and they take it seriously. Your day-to-day job has an immediate impact on the company and our leaders are very good about making that impact transparent and salient to each employee through customized dashboards and company shout-outs. Finally, the culture here at Probo is unmatched. We're very deliberate on perpetuating the amazing and welcoming culture that Probo has. We go out for drinks after work, we hang out together on the weekends. I genuinely feel like I have true friends here at Probo that I'll have even if we choose to pursue other career avenues. It's a great place to work, and I'm forever thankful that I was able to land at a spot like Proob so early on in my professional career :)
Cons
Obviously there are always a few growing pains with any scale-up company, but our leadership team is ever-vigilant in identifying these gaps and pains and immediately throwing resources to appropriately solve them when they arise.
