Pros

This company has a great commitment to it's employees and wants to do right by them in any way as long as they can honor their clients. They empower you to make your own schedule and are incredibly flexible with schedule as long as you can get work done as needed. Tons of opportunities given for team members to get hands on all kinds of projects and different kinds of work depending on what you are interested in. Review process feels like a partnership with your manager to find what you want to focus on and what needs to be worked on.

Cons

The billable hours model, having to meet a certain quota of hours billed directly to clients can be difficult to get the hang of. Especially if you are not used to it. There are some places where they still have a very small business mindset of having HR handle tons of different things and there are things where it is hard to get an answer without directly pinging HR. As opposed to big enterprise companies there is not a lot of hand holding and you are expected to hit the ground running pretty quick. Can be jarring if you're used to the 1-2 weeks of orientation/training some bigger places might have. Along with hand holding there are some benefits that did not feel like they were fully explained or mentioned when first starting.

Pros

Good people to work with. Owners are nice. More autonomy than traditional MSP.

Cons

Strange infatuation with nuts, squirrels.

Pros

Consistent reviews outlining future career development. Transparent billable hours model. Co-workers that are as skilled as they are eager to assist in a manner that makes everyone better and empowered. Everyone brings each other up. Great work events to meet up IRL. Very diverse mix of staff. Great mix of clients, with the ability to see how different businesses operate. Upper management is all experienced, insightful, and everyone is providing positive feedback about each other. I have yet to see anyone try to knock someone down a peg. Assuming you try, and keep a calm mind in front of the customer, and know to reach out, there will be a hand to help you. Since I've joined in late '24, I've seen people being promoted and growth around the country. This is truly one of those employers that people get into and stay at for a while. The 5/5 star ratings are not given lightly, but is a reflection of how this environment has compared to any IT/MSP position I've had in nearly a decade in the industry.

Cons

It's not so much a con as an expectation; MSP's have a certain amount of grind to them. Things can get stressful, as with any profession, when sudden issues pop up with clients; that should be expected. It's not like being support for a single SMB where there is downtime and waiting for things to go out. More than likely, there is something to do, but the act of doing it is motivating, and the team is nothing short of supportive and helpful.
