Pros
After 5.5 years with the company, it's safe to say I enjoyed my experience. The opportunities for growth are good, like many startups and scaling organizations, strong performance is recognized, and career progression can happen quickly. I benefited from that myself and saw many colleagues do the same. The people and culture are also major strengths. From the supportive teams and relationships built along the way to the events, lunches, and employee-focused initiatives, the company does a great job of investing in its people and creating an enjoyable workplace
Cons
This may not be a con for everyone, but it's important for prospective employees to understand that this is a fast-paced environment that values initiative, adaptability, and a strong sense of urgency. Individuals who thrive in dynamic settings with shifting priorities will likely find the work engaging and rewarding. However, those who prefer more structure, predictability, or a slower pace may find the environment challenging.
For that reason, I always encourage people to thoroughly research the position they are considering and ask detailed questions during the interview process about responsibilities, pace, and performance expectations. Taking the time to ensure alignment upfront is important.
