Pros

At least 40 hours but most of the time more

Cons

Do you want to have no work life Balance? Do you want to have no Benefits? Do you want to be Micromanaged at every turn? Do you want to be monitored every time you go to the bath room? Do you want to travel no client sites without any expenses covered? Do you want to be monitored while you take lunch and bothered during it? Do you want your status change from hourly to salary or vice versa? Do you want to have your after-work plans destroyed because a meeting just happens to pop up ten minutes before you left for the day? Do you want projects to be placed on you that needed to be done yesterday? Do you want to have your emergency contact called because you’re a few minutes late? Do you want to get text and emails after hours and during weekends? Do you want to use your personal phone for company purposes? Do you want the expectation of coming to work early but leaving late? If any of this sounds fun to you come work at ProMedical IT.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review after your recent dismissal. I am sorry to see from your comments that your experience at ProMedical IT was unfortunately quite negative. We do expect staff to arrive on time, own the work assigned to them, communicate and follow-up with clients, be present during the work day and treat the work environment with respect and responsibility. We provide a positive work environment for our team and do offer benefits including paid vacation time, holidays, sick leave and contributions toward individual health insurance plans…there are of course things that can always be improved as our company grows. ProMedical IT will continue to provide quality, professional service to our customers through a team dedicated to the fast and secure demands of our industry.

Pros

An amazing workplace. I have been here a year and have been promoted twice thus far so skill and talent are not overlooked. I have worked at plenty of managed service providers before so I'm well aware of the downsides normally inherent in the business, I am happy to report they are not present at Promedical IT. For instance, there is excellent work/life balance, I am pursuing a full-time degree while also working full time and management has been 100 percent supportive. At other MSPs it simply would not be possible due to the requirement to burn the candle at both ends. Many other places I have worked have had informational silos and it makes getting the info you need to do your job difficult there is a marked push from management to have the info and documentation available at your fingertips which makes doing amazingly great IT that much easier. The team is made up of A players who consistently go out of their way to assist other team members. Problems and issues are tackled as a team. You never feel like you have been thrown to the wolves.

Cons

Not a con but do expect to pull your weight and continue to learn new technologies in order to remain competitive and relevant.

Pros

The company has a very unique mission and if managed well can make a huge impact in the MSP world

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, nothing was documented, names and places were not clear, not allowed to talk to the team. It was the most punitive and disruptive work environment I ever worked at. Music playing while on conference calls, VOIP phones kept dropping while on conference calls, promises were made and absolutely no follow up, micro managed when you went to the bathroom. Was told to bring in a sleeping bed and move in several times. Very immature behavior was observed and the project management processes were unstructured and not documented. You can’t partner in a company as a team player when there is constant bad communications and back stabbing going on. Was let go after 11 days, 2 hours after my shift the night before Thanks Giving that should say enough about the company
