Pros
- relatively small departments, easy to work/talk with other staff - ambitious growth targets - generally pleasant but perfunctory atmosphere - new office with free tea/coffee
Cons
- most of information dissemination is ad-hoc or through the grapevine - fostered culture of "yes-men" - very unequal work/benefit ratios throughout departments - for some members of staff initiatives are taken for granted by management whilst others receive rewards and opportunities for doing their usual jobs
