Pros

There ARE no Pros! If your CV has been 'especially selected' by this company - run. Google Progen's director Karl Clough and you'll find 'The Interactive Team' (aka Glasgow Interactive). Google 'Karl Clough Interactive Devil' and you'll find out more than you ever wanted to know about this miserable excuse for an 'employer' Save yourself some heartache and a lot of money.

Cons

This 'job' is a con! You work on a self-employed basis, paid commission only, long hours etc. All of that could be acceptable if they weren't brainwashing you with the compulsory 'training'. This is a complete scam - avoid avoid avoid. The 'interview' involves sitting in a cafe all day whilst your poor team leader tries to make his commission whilst simultaneously 'mentoring' you. The poor sod has to pay your expenses out of his own pocket.

Pros

Top- tier training in sales, you will build up some seriously great sales skill set which you can adapt to lots of jobs. The training is also really good, and coming in the morning it's a really fun environment and you build great relationships with all your colleagues. They really promote a team work ethic, everyone builds you up when you're having a bad day there's always someone there to pick you up. You can get promoted quite fast and the work is performance based, therefore, you know you've worked hard to get where you want to be. If your goal is to open up your on marketing/sales office, then this company will help you get here.

Cons

This job will become your life and take over a lot of your social life if you want to solely focus on your career for the next few years then this is definitely for you. and i'm being sincere saying that.

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback about your time working with Pro Gen. We're really pleased that you liked our progression model, organic progression based on merit! We firmly believe that if you work hard, you should be rewarded and we're thrilled you're on board with our ethos. Also, thank you for highlighting what you believe to be the cons of working with us here - please know that we take all comments seriously and will use your feedback to do our best to improve operations and career opportunities moving forward. We're sorry that you felt that the career opportunities are full on but it's down to the fact that all positions are considered to be long-term careers but we will endeavour to explore alternative roles, perhaps offering part-time positions, to people who cannot commit to a full time role or a career. This is certainly something we will discuss in the near future. We wish you all the very best with your future career!

Pros

Where do I start? People moan about sales and events jobs because they don’t have a strong work ethic. (Fortunately I do and you need that to work here.) I made excellent bonuses and had a great team training which has given me confidence to take to my new job. It’s a real boost when you see your wages at the end of the month and you know you’ve worked for it. I made good friends I’m still in touch with.

Cons

If you’re not a fan of long hours this isn’t really the job for you. Other than that I loved working for this company.

We're sorry that you felt the hours were long whilst working alongside us, however we try to be as clear as possible about the schedules before anyone joins us but we will endeavour to explore alternative roles, perhaps offering part-time positions, to people who cannot commit to a full time role.
