The work is pretty easy, the scientists are very nice people.

Unpaid overtime and unpaid weekend work. No 401k, bad benefits. There will often be pickups just before you are expected to leave, however, are expected to stay and process the samples and leaving hours after expected (as above, unpaid for those extra hours). Management do not appear to have run a laboratory before and look to be out of their depth.
