Cons
For anyone considering employment at this company, I would encourage you to reach out to literally anyone who has worked here, via LinkedIn, and ask for their honest opinion. It's important to note that negative reviews that I know to be accurate have recently been removed, while new "5 star" reviews have started sprouting up. This is an erasure of valid experiences that happen to look bad for them. Looks like the company is currently hiring... You do the math. I could not have been more excited to join this company - it touted authenticity, transparency, and an obvious care for its employees. Nothing could be further from the truth. The employees were severely underpaid and overworked, and when actual issues were raised with management (via requested feedback from them), those employees were called "petty," "emotional," or otherwise ignored. Unfortunately, this company that loves to celebrate being woman-owned (technically speaking, 51% to 49%), consistently reinforced classic gendered stereotypes. The owners are condescending, fake, and unprofessional. They surround themselves with a small circle of like-minded people who reinforce their delusions of grandeur. They are serial entrepreneurs who will do anything for a quick buck. "Success" is claimed, though their bread & butter business was failing for years before finally closing in March.
