Here are some things you can verify yourself by reading new hire documents: They can fire instantly, but expect 30 days notice if you leave. They have a weird non-compete that could damage your career if you don't demand it be changed. If you live far away, you're not allowed to be a bit late for traffic to clear. Normally there's ONE WEEK vacation, if you negotiate for two, they act like they gave you the world. Bottom line: You don't matter.
