This company apparently doesn’t know how to manage their money. In the time I was there, many large lay offs happened, and the last included myself. Yet you’ll see postings just weeks after about how they are re-filling those positions. At a high level, this company has no problem sending their entire leadership team on a long vacation to exotic islands for being in the “presidents club,” but can’t even pay their lower level employees the alarmingly low salaries they offer. They prey on younger people, especially those straight out of college, and put them in positions with little pay, extreme micromanagement, authoritative leaders, and extremely low glass ceilings.
All in all, I was a number, not a person. My opinion didn’t matter. Even if it would’ve benefitted the company. There is a substantial amount of favoritism, no room for growth, and almost all lower level employees are underpaid. Free (bitter) coffee in the break room just doesn’t make up for all of that.
