Pros

Fabulous campus, great art all around, no risk of getting fired, work with some great people.

Cons

Very successful two years of working remote and it won't even be considered, so staff is leaving for remote work opportunities. Annual pay increases are laughable (median 2%) and far from inflation rate, so you lose money each year working here - so people are leaving for better paying opportunities Parking is terrible and they threatened to charge for it to discourage commuters - it wasn't a problem during the pandemic when people were working remote - but they want everyone back full time and won't consider even part time rotating remote work. To make it worse, they are destroying parking lots to build new buildings, so it will get worse (even with new garage being built) Career advancement training is minimal and internal training is poor IT Support is understaffed, but won't expand on departments, so become ticket grinders. Nobody retires and people are rarely promoted, so there is no growth opportunity. Coupled with the fact that you have no time to expand your skills because you are constantly grinding tickets - you have to leave to get a promotion It really sounds like I have an axe to grind, especially with the remote work stuff, but really this place has just worn many people down over the years. Remote work was a breath of fresh air and people are jumping ship (I see it everywhere)
