Pros

the ability to see the most beautiful parts of the world for free talking to 80+ nationalities on a daily basis really cool, intense and fun life

Cons

not a company to work for if you are working onboard the ship and have family at home, because it takes you away for 4-9 months depending on position long hours and no weekends, but you get used to that and your body adjusts

Pros

Let’s start with the PROs:- 1. The benefits are good since you in theory can do space available on the other carnival brands. 2..The training bonus was nice to have as a buffer and they kept it for 6 months 3. Ability to work remote was great for work life balance and flexibility even though it was temporary.

Cons

Now let’s do the Cons:- 1. The leads are absolutely terrible, having worked at other cruise lines, I must say it was the worst. They recycled the same leads to the point where you end up spam calling guests. 2. There is very little opportunity for success as a new hire. Just to put in context of the 24 people in my training class we are left with 8 in less than 1 year. So there is that 3. The training is terrible, you spent half the time learning their archaic reservation system though they do have another which is more modern but you honestly have to know both which is interesting.
