Pros

I worked there for two years off and on, bc of maternity leave. Warm Leads, good hours (no weekends). I would total 20,000 to 30,000 in sales per month. Very flexible if I needed to take off due to my parent's traveling up to NC. No cold-calling. I got added as a manager prior to moving back to Charlotte. So Room for growth.

Cons

No breakroom and some of the younger staff in the sales department talk way too much about petty things.

Pros

As the new Sales Manager at Prime Vendor (January 2015) It is unfortunate to see some of the negative remarks posted. In the past we have hired on a 90 day probationary period prospective sales staff with less then the required skill set. The position requires excellent communication and selling skills. Product knowledge and persistence is the key to sales success. If I was the one that terminated your employment, it was because you failed to meet the minimum sales requirement. No sales or just 3 sales in a month is not a winning ticket. Although I don’t expect everyone to be a rock star, your co-workers are earning $5,000 to $6,000 in monthly income between there base pay, commission and bonus. If other management or I have micro managed you it’s because you’re a probationary employee. We want you to succeed. The time spent with you is to nurture you to achieve your goals. It is time consuming and costly to have you fail. We expect you to have motivation. If I have asked you for the 3rd or 4th. Time to stop texting your friends, checking out your social media account, or engaging all other staff who will listen on how you hate your mother in law during work time, then perhaps this position is not for you. We only work 30 hrs. per week. Our day starts at 9:30 a.m, if you are habitually late and then come in with your McDonalds to eat at your desk for the next 15 minutes, then this position is not for you. My commitment is to more carefully screen new applicants, hire those with relative experience and enthusiasm.

The Time to add new products and services to our program
