Pros

Health Benefits Free Lunch on Fridays Some colleagues were cool

Cons

It's difficult to know where to begin. Working here involved daily challenges, many of which stemmed from having to navigate indecision and manipulation, often from those in leadership positions who are easily influenced by misleading individuals. This kind of workplace instability made each day exhausting and emotionally draining. I can truthfully say, I have been traumatized by working at this organization. One of the most disheartening experiences was being told that “I think you are great in meetings, when you just don't talk-- that makes for a great meeting” — feedback that seemed to be applied selectively, as I never saw my male colleagues treated similarly. It felt like my voice wasn’t just devalued, but actively silenced. Even more troubling was what happened when I tried to raise a serious concern. I approached the CEO — who was also my direct supervisor — to express that I didn’t feel safe around a particular employee, and I was actively trying to discuss an incident involving sexual assault. I was told he didn’t want to hear it because he "doesn’t like emotion or drama." This response made it clear that the company was not a safe space for women. Additionally, many of the claims made about the company’s machine technology and capabilities are exaggerated or untrue, making it difficult to stand behind the product or trust leadership. The culture here is not only dismissive — especially toward women — but actively harmful. I cannot in good conscience recommend working at this company to anyone.

Pros

It had a fun startup culture at first and then became an insufferable place bending at the whims of inexperienced executives and investors lacking vision and integrity. It was ok when there was substance and talent before the brown-nosers and yes men infected the place. Also the lack of leadership on all levels proved fatal.

Cons

There's constant pivoting and lack of vision and direction. Leadership is more focused on sales, marketing and investor input rather than reasonable and strategic moves stemming from sound data or logic. Extremely high turnover rate and unprofessional and toxic management. Misuse of investor money on ill-advised and impulsive purchases and even backtracking or reversing decisions. Like Trump and tariffs, just desperate and dumb maneuvers. No room for growth, no security, no accountability, this is a joke of a hardware tech startup, a shell of a wannabe company that used up amd discarded talent to try and sell off an over-engineered steam machine that doesn't replace a washing machine and dryer. It's moreso a fire and electrical hazard than anything useful. Maybe scrap metal as it's built like a tank showcasing the company's design wisdom, you could make a couple hundred from the extra metal. You'd just be 20k in the red for it. Engineering and HR were let go in a desperate attempt to appease investors and attempt to salvage a hemorrhaging trash fire.
