Pros

Not a lot! Maybe a few good people that work on the Admin team.

Cons

Everything! Toxic environment, terrible workplace culture, even more terrible Leadership team. There’s so much negativity…everyone seems to not like someone else on the team. Managers treat their employees poorly, and even talk about their employees and each other behind their backs! At least one of the three so-called Leaders is such a micro-manager (but will tell anyone who will listen that they aren’t), the other just sits in their office all day being completely complacent about the state of their workplace. This company does not care about their employees, it’s all about the numbers and production. Their job descriptions are filled with contradictions and is so far from the truth. Anyone considering working on the Admin team at Delta, BC, really needs to do their due diligence. If you’re in a good position now, you’ll regret leaving for this company, so DON’T DO IT! And if you don’t have a job but are considering working here, no job is better than working here….believe me and the others that left before and after me, this place isn’t worth it until they make some drastic changes starting at the top.

Pros

Pay is not bad, people you work with are very nice and are willing to help anyone that needs it. Benefits after 90 days, employees get premade furniture very cheap.

Cons

Very dusty, poor upper management decisions, unorganized, unable to locate lead when you need him, very short staffed with maintenance, machines break down a lot, advancement is almost impossible unless someone quits, they fire people for the smallest things like clocking out 3 min late at end of shift or not measuring a thirty hole board fast enough, very hot during the warm months and cold during winter months, have fans that u can barely feel due to humidity and placement, You get lectured, written up, moved to different area or even fired if order is not completed in the time frame that it states it should take on order sheet, unless you give a good reason why it took longer. Rules always changing. Need more leads for each area and parts for machines to be fixed appropriately, expected number are very high and if not met they act as if you can’t do the job instead of asking why you didn’t meet the number for the night. Leads and managers meet in the middle of the shift and you have to wait for 30 min to get order checked and signed off on which puts you behind, poor decisions by upper management on how the budget is spent. Stuff that is not needed to keep production going is bought and parts to keep machines running is turned down when asked for.
