Pros

Good interactions with people in company, good support, plentiful and pretty well-designed curriculum/resources available to support tutors. Expectations are clear. Part-time schedule is fully flexible, and you can scale it up or down as much as you want.

Cons

Decentralized nature of the company makes it hard to get to know anyone, or even the structure of the company - I still have no idea who to contact for anything more than basic support or materials for a student/family. The big thing is the pay/work ratio. I am paid about 1/6 to 1/7 of what PrepNow charges for my services, and you are only paid for contact time with students (and training, but this is paid at local minimum wage, so it's basically negligible). The work and pay structure is designed for people who want to tutor to pick up extra income, but there is so much prep work when you are first learning the tests and curriculum (beyond training) that I can't imagine it being worth it if you weren't going to dedicate at least 20-30 hours a week to it. There is also a lot of unpaid labor that goes into doing a good job - preparing for sessions, follow-up with parents, etc. I don't particularly feel like the time I put into it is well-rewarded or appreciated.
