Pros
pros: Unlimited PTO, Flexible work hours
Cons
Cons: Low salaries with no negotiating. I’m 2021 Prenda was doing what they say they do and providing quality education. But starting in 2022, they go rid of team members who pull the most weight because those are the employees who tend to advocate for change and improvement. If you work here, I would suggest keeping your mouth closed and head down the whole time because then you will be praised and rewarded and be kept through every round of layoffs. I have seen this first hand time and time again. They kept someone on the payroll who put in 1-2 hours of work as a full time employee because she was friends with her manager. After working here, I would never send my kids to a Prenda microschool, so I could not in good conscience encourage anyone else to; although, I don’t believe Prenda will be around long enough for many of us to consider it as an option.
