Pros
- Great jobs with interessting and challenging tasks, good for your resume - Possibility to be involved in multiple projects and to go beyond your tasks description if you are willing to - Great possibilities of promotions - Great products and technologies
Cons
- Salaries lower than average. Way lower if you are an experienced professionnal. They tend to have fixed scales per job title, but wont adjust to your experience. If you have no experience at all, or no education, your salary will not be so bad and can even be good. In fact, in recent years, they can only manage to recruit young graduates or even managers with not much experience. - Very strong business culture, but this culture has taken a terribly wrong path. A lot of Managers, mostly those who have been with the company for a long time, manipulate their own employees, especially during annual evaluations. It seems to be their ''negociation strategy'', they even apply the same lies to their negociations with the union of the shop. (no union for office workers). Basically, they try to make you believe that you are not good enough and that you would be easy to replace. They find completely ridiculous reasons to blame you and do not really recognize what you have done, even if you delivered huge projects. - If you have an annual salary, they sometimes try to bully you into doing even more unpaid work than what you already do. Even if you are already doing more than your job. - There are 3 divisions and the ''Global''. If you hear good comments, there is a great chance that they come from the ''Industrial equipment Group''. Somehow the employees of this division seem to be treated more fairly.
