Pros

Folks with clinical backgrounds who can leverage technology to help improve outcomes are very valuable and really provide a lot of added value to the customers. If you are in this category it can be an excellent place to work! If you are a technology worker it is a dicier proposition. They typically hire young talent to work with new and open source technologies and without a ton of direction. So if that describes you, it may be a good fit.

Cons

If you work in technology, beware. There is still plenty of legacy software/technology and the organization is simply not disciplined enough to manage it properly, nor do they want to spend the money to do so. They are large enough to need an integrated architecture and management gambled on a partnership with Big Blue which didn't seem to really pan out, at least from the technology perspective. Now instead of reinforcing older legacy investments which dangled on the vine during the partnership, they are trying to use newer technologies to replace or handle additional processing. They have gone 'All In' on the innovation and collaboration at the expense of traditional 'Prioritize and Mobilize' by carefully picking what they want to focus on and then dedicating adequate and well managed resources to accomplish them. Tech management has a tendency to chase anything shiny and overcommit, and from my perspective, haven't been held accountable for it. Management turnover seems abnormally low.

Pros

The atmosphere is great!! Flexible schedules and not micromanaged. An amazing entry level data analysis training program.

Cons

Pay is low for job and switched from full remote to hybrid. Not too much room for job growth.

Pros

Really the best thing at Premier was the work force. Everyone is willing to teach and work collaboratively

Cons

The C Suite looks at numbers on a spreadsheet rather than employee longevity and contributions. Has had a RIF every year for the last 4 years, resulting in the elimination of very long term employees who contribute greatly to the company vision. Also, the chance for education and career growth is limited to certain roles only
